a BIG thank you to all our friends!

The "Meg's Miracle" event was beyond description! We have felt so overwhelmed and flattered with such love and self-less service. There are NO words in the English language (or any other language for that matter) to describe how we have felt. We NEED to try and say thanks to our fantastic friends who were able to show their support and love over the last few weeks. To say that our life has been a little rough may be an understatement--but then hey, everyone has their challenges! However, we are so lucky to have a friend that loves us so much that she came up with an idea and then RAN like billy-heck with it!

It all started around a campfire on the fourth of July! Little did I know what was to become of that conversation! The biggest and greatest thanks to Julie Kaye (Crockett-Gardner-Nielsen) for spearheading this fantastic idea and enormous project! YOU were phenomenal and this could NOT have happened without YOU! Your ideas and continued positive attitude made this happen. We also strongly agree that your "buddy-buddy" relationship with God also came in handy!:) WE LOVE YOU! Also, a thanks to Travis for supporting your wife and doing so many of the behind the scenes things. JK had a cheerleading squad that kept her pumped with ideas and possibilities. To Cara and Kara--THANK YOU! These two girls we have not known for very long (but they really give great head massages) but were so devoted to making this happen and spent SO much of their free time helping a couple they hardly know!

We also want to thank our sisters (Melinda, Alicia, Laurel, Michelle) who took time out of their VERY busy days to help plan and subsequently pull off this event which went to our benefit. We know how much time and effort you put into this and never once did you make it sound like it was an inconvenience or problem. In fact, Melinda said she had so much "FUN" with this that she wants to go into event planning with JK! The fact that she thought this was "FUN" says it all. Laurel did a great job with the blog and all four of them made things for the boutique and helped with spreading the word by blog, facebook, etc. We love our sisters SO much and appreciate their continued love towards us. Their love just never seems to end!

To a select group of friends who contributed immensely with preparation, organization and most importantly BEING THERE THE WHOLE DANG TIME (11 am-1 am) running the boutique and snack shack etc. My very best friend Shellie and her husband George who drove up from Vegas for the weekend. Every time I even think of Shellie I want to cry! She has been with me through thick and thin, good and bad, sorrow and happiness. She is always my voice of reason! George is THE most generous person I think I have ever met. He just gives and gives and gives and expects nothing in return! I truly feel that he would do anything for us! To Hannah, Jean-Marie and Kamarie (8 years old!), your help was unreal! My go-to girls! Nothin' but love from these forever friends! Talk about unconditional love and devotion...wow! Truest examples of charity EVER! Amazing doesn't even cover your efforts.

To EVERYONE that visited, donated, shared in the event, purchased items, contributed, passed by, relayed information, raised funds, helped to get items donated, gave of their time, spoke with us, supported our efforts, listened to us, encouraged us, laughed with us and most importantly gave of themselves and their love; we love you and can never truly relay our thanks for the comfort, kindness and love that we felt from 'Megs Miracle'. This has honestly inspired us in ways that we can not fully grasp as of yet, but we feel moving forward is actually a possibility. Honestly, as to where we are headed is yet to be determined but we feel glimmers of hope.
